While ministering in Northeast Arkansas, Kenneth and Erica O'Connell began to feel a definite call to plant a church in Jonesboro. After much prayer and counsel they made the decision to come.

In January of 2011 they began meeting in their home.

From there the church moved into a rented facility, and in March of 2013 SC built its first permanent home on Strawfloor Road.
